One of the best ways to spend a free afternoon in the sun, Table Bluff has drive-up ease and a great day-use picnic area. Dogs and pets welcome, but beware the undertow can be strong.

Historic to the point of featuring in multiple large motion pictures for it’s pure aesthetic charm, this town is pure enjoyment walking down Main Street, having a coffee at Main Street Coffee Co., getting lunch at Tuya’s, and picking up a book at Chapman’s Bookery.

Also a beautiful beach off the backside of Ferndale. Incredible views as you come down to the ocean level, and you can make a day of it by visiting the town on you way also!

Besides the obvious beauty of the majestic redwoods, you can lose hours just walking along the paths, searching for a lucky 4-leaf clover in the miles of clover fields, and discovering natural tree bridges and forts all over the parks.

A little bit of everything! Tourist shops, clothing stores, chocolate shoppes, yoga studios, and day spas are just a few of the many businesses you will find as you walk the old town district. Grab a bagel from the fabulous fresh-baked Los Bagels, and maybe even catch a horse and carriage ride if you see the buggy about!

Home to artisan shops, local clothing companies, and delicious restaurants. It is just a block from the Humboldt Crabs Baseball field and downtown from the Cal Poly Humboldt campus.

Trinidad Beaches and Town

Truly a gem, Trinidad is a beautiful little fishing and vacation town complete with a boardwalk at the beach and a fresh seafood restaurants to make a fabulous day trip! Just 1 hour away from Fortuna, it boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the county and some quaint tourist shops as well!

Crabs Baseball Game

We have our very own Collegiate Summer Baseball Team just a 35 min drive to the Arcata Crabs Baseball Field. The oldest in the country of it’s kind, its a great way to spend an afternoon sipping local beers, eating some tasty ballpark food, and watching a great game with talented young players!
